With the current boom in automotive sales and with capacity requirements increasing, Salop Design and Engineering are looking towards the future by taking on apprentices.
With training partners, In-Comm Training & Business Services, Salop started earlier in the year with initial adverts, interviews and have now taken on three apprentices, all from the local area, who will start work on 21st July.
Chris Greenough, Director at Salop Design and Engineering, commented 'this is a real commitment to make sure that our skills pool is maintained for the years to come.'
The apprentices will be given a full Engineering Apprenticeship, which will see them visit all areas of the Salop Design major manufacturing site. Over 36 months, they will have regular input from In-Comm, including travelling to their state of the art training centre in Aldridge.
